Support in North Central London
Amparo offers support for anyone living in or affected by a suicide in the boroughs of:
- Barnet
- Camden
- Haringey
- Islington
- Enfield
This includes people who live and/or work in one of these boroughs, or are affected by the suicide of someone who does.
The service is available to anyone affected by suicide. This includes family, friends, neighbours, colleagues and professionals who might have supported the person who died. You may also want to speak to us if the suicide of someone you didn’t know has brought up difficult emotions for you.
How we can Help
Amparo offers a range of emotional and practical support that best suits your needs. We can help navigate police and coroner investigations, or be someone to talk to when you’re feeling low. We can be flexible to help you navigate your thoughts and emotions after being affected by a suicide
We can support communities affected by suicide, this can include some workplaces or housing estates. We can offer drop-in sessions or community events to help people after a death.

You can contact us by phone, by email or by completing the online form. Amparo’s local Liaison Workers aim to make initial contact within 48 hours of a referral.
