Support in Kent and Medway.
Amparo offers support for anyone bereaved or affected by suicide in Kent and Medway.
The service is available to anyone affected by suicide. This includes family, friends, neighbours, colleagues and professionals who might have supported the person who died. You may also want to speak to us if the suicide of someone you didn’t know has brought up difficult emotions for you.
- We directly support adults over the age of 18 years old, and children indirectly through their parent or carer.
How we can help
Amparo offers a range of emotional and practical support that best suits your needs. We can help navigate police and coroner investigations; signpost you to counselling or other relevant services; and be someone to talk to when you’re feeling low. In our one-to-one sessions, we can help you process and understand your thoughts and emotions after being affected by a suicide.
Our support is free and confidential, and tailored to the individual. We can also support workplaces or minority communities affected by suicide. Please contact us for more information.
