Armed Forces Referral

This referral route has been established specifically for authorised Armed Forces and Defence referral partners and should be used in accordance with local referral arrangements.Referrals submitted through this page will be received securely by the Amparo team and processed in line with our established referral procedures.

Amparo offers free, confidential support to people affected by suicide. Our experienced team provides practical and emotional support, helping people understand what has happened, navigate the immediate challenges following a death, and access ongoing support where required.

Recognising the unique experiences of the Armed Forces community, this referral pathway may also be used where service personnel have been affected by a bereavement that is not related to suicide.

Before you refer

Please ensure that the person being referred, where appropriate, is aware of the referral and is happy for their details to be shared with Amparo.

If you are making a referral on behalf of someone else, please provide as much relevant information as possible to help us make timely contact.
