Description
Muslim Bereavement Support Service offers a free and confidential support service for women who have lost loved one. The service is also able to signpost appropriately for support for men and children.
The nationwide service predominantly works remotely with women, offering 6-8 sessions of support, however faceto-face sessions are available in Hainault, Essex and Glasgow. The service is able to provide support in multiple languages including Arabic, English, German and French.
How to refer:
The service predominantly supports females when they are 3-6 months into their bereavement, however they are happy to support at any time. Self-referrals are encouraged but the organisation will also accept third party referrals via email. The bereaved will be contacted within 48 hours of the organisation being notified to arrange a session which will be held within a week.
