Our newest team members who completed their initial training last week in Hampshire.
Some new staff members will work in our Amparo Hampshire service, while others are Adult Counsellors completing our bridging course in counselling for children and young people. The training includes lots of practical activities, including crafts such as making dream catchers and memory flowers which can be used during sessions with children and young people.
Since our Hampshire Amparo service went live in May 2022, we have received over 250 referrals for families and individuals requiring support following bereavement by suicide. You can read more about our Amparo service at: https://amparo.org.uk/
